Furnace 2006

2006 was the first year we ran Furnace and despite our nerves it started well. We had aimed to have a small con focused wholly on actually playing table top games.We had 45 delegates, a great demo wargame from Glory Geeks and concentrated gaming.
The games run included Traveller, Burning Wheel, Call of Cthulhu, HeroQuest, D&D, Gwenthia, Rome, Savage Worlds, and many others. Patriot Games from Sheffield came and provided a stall selling games, we had an auction to support Water Aid and all in all a great time was had. By the end we all agreed: Onwards to 2007! |
