Furnace 2008 is Over: Long Live Furnace 2009!

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Furnace 2008 was a great success and over 70 attendees enjoyde themselves in a wide range of games spread over 2 days and 5 sessions. The Con went well and smoothly and the overwhelming feedback has been positive and happy. We’ll start posting pictures and feedback shortly, but for now the Committee would like to thank all GMs who ran games, all players who played games.. and Jim at Patriot Games for kindly selling us stuff, and the Collective Endeavour crew for bringing their wide range of Indie games.

Furnace will return in 2009 in “Thundereye..”

Under a week to go

Monday, October 13th, 2008

It’s just FIVE days to Furnace 2008 and we have over 70 attendees signed up, over 50 games scheduled and planned, various publishers and traders coming and the ever welcoming gaol cells all warm and welcoming. It’s all hands on at Furnace Central, ensuring we have sign up sheets and flip charts and name badges and the Con book. Hopefull it’s all hands on with you too, digging out your dice, packing your toothbrush and manhandling your rulebooks into a manageable pile. If you’re up on Friday night then Graham and Newt will be in the Garrison bar for ‘pre-Con’ drinks, if not then Tom will see you bright eyed and bushy tailed on Saturday morning. [You bring the bright eyes and bushy tails, I'll bring the handouts..]
